The Buffalo Family Introduces a New Family Member

It is with great excitement that we introduce you to our newest Buffalo family member. The Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Monday, April 24th  during which they named Mr. Steve Morrow the next Principal at Lone Oak High School.

Steve Morrow - Lone Oak High School Principal

Mr. Morrow is an outstanding educator that has been working in and around schools for 18 years. Mr. Morrow is moving to Texas from Florida where he has spent the last two years as an educational consultant. His passion for education has led him across the US from Texas to Alaska to Florida, and he is thrilled to be returning to the great State of Texas. He looks forward to joining the Buffalo family along with his wife, Erin, and his three children, Luke (14), Cheyenne (11), and Hunter (8).

Mr. Morrow intends on jumping in head first to his new duties as soon as he and his family make the big move from Florida to Texas mid-summer. He looks forward to getting to know each and every team member on his campus and within the district and joining our small town community, that always puts family first.

This change in leadership came about after the March board meeting where the Board of Trustees approved our current High School Principal, Mr. Compton, to be the new Director of Finance and Operations in the Administration Office.

There are so many great things happening at LOISD and we are looking forward to the bright future ahead of us.
